The greatest compliment that was ever paid me was when one asked me what I thought, and attended to my answer.

Cover I designed for Gemini Club’s upcoming single, ‘By Surprise’. I likened spaceflight to music, the astronauts to the band, so on and so forth.
The photograph was borrowed from the NASA Project Gemini Missions, the human spaceflight program that accomplished the first American spacewalk and explored new techniques to master spaceflight.
One of the major objectives was “To demonstrate endurance of humans and equipment to spaceflight” - Wikipedia
I chose the photo because I imagined that’s what Gemini Club is doing: looking out the porthole at something they’ve just released. Maybe that object is the song?
Additionally I wanted to include an homage to perfection so there are elements of a Fibonacci spiral, or ‘golden spiral’, which has a growth that matches the Golden Ratio. It felt good to disrupt it and make it all crazy. Maybe that’s what I hope this release does, disrupt the golden ratio?
