Gemini Club Featured Music on CW’s Ringer!

One of my clients and good friends Gemini Club will have their song ‘Mirrors’ featured on CW’s Ringer tonight!

You can download their EP ‘Future Tidings’ that has ‘Mirrors’ for free over here: http://bit.ly/wkwzcC

And in case you want to sing along:

Lyric from Gemini Club’s ‘Mirror’

I used to wait in the background.

You used to tell me,
“Nothing but lingering lies will fall.”
You give me the reasons,
I’ll give you the answers
Give me your keys,
I was on the run.
I’ve got you dead in the crosshairs
dead in the middle,
twin-barreled eyes no eyes could see.
Want to walk on the mirrors,
been walking for years,
it took time but I believe.
It’s a two-way shakedown
it’s a two-way shake and you’ve got to keep up
it’s a two-way shakedown
it’s a two-way shake and you’ve go to keep up.
Move me into the foreground
into the headlights,
into the back room of your plight.
You take me out of the cell blocks
up to the rooftops
into the skyline every night.
You’ve got me dead in the crosshairs
dead in the middle
light from dark eyes is all I see,
want to walk on the mirrors,
I’m walking for years
it took time but I believe.
It’s a two-way shakedown
it’s a two-way shake and you’ve got to keep up
it’s a two-way shakedown
it’s a two-way shake and you’ve go to keep up.
You keep me alive,
You keep me alive,
You keep me alive,
You keep me alive.

Time to Re-Think the Operating System

I’m sick and tired of the decades old folder system. Whether is Mac, PC, Linux, Android, or iOS. I want an operating system that acts like gmail, one that is omnipresent.

Ideal:

  1. Entirely replace the save window with tags instead of location.
  2. File retrieval system based on advanced search. I use Alfred and Mac OS X’s Spotlight but they are both anemic and fall short- hindered by the antiquated file/folder system.
  3. One Finder/Files window auto organizes based on file type. PSD, AI, et cetera and sorted by last opened/modified/created
  4. Auto-save to cloud with invisible versioning; not just back ups.

Maybe chrome os will be my savior.
