Stop Teaching Dreamweaver.
All the time I come across bunches of people who are taking web design courses and they always talk about how much they hate dreamweaver. How much it’s a really daunting program and it’s hard for them to get into it.
To those teachers I say stop it. Stop teaching that bloated program and go back to the basics of web design.
Try writing a simply coded website, use the principles.
-Plan your project out on paper before touching a computer
-Create project folders with subfolders for images, javascripts, and css styles.
-Use Notepad.
-Learn to write your own code independent of the over priced software.
-Want to implement that cool UX experience/design you saw on the internet? Google it. Betcha there’s a tutorial covering it.
Dreamweaver can be beneficial, but only when needed. Learn the basics, then figure out the program.
