So Obama promised to close the detention facility at the naval base in Guantanamo Bay. Is he going to do it? Is it the right thing?
Honestly, I think he should. This facility, while most likely effective in the war on terror, is much more of a PR hassle than it’s worth. We have plenty of other secret prisons around the world to extract information, how terrible would it be to lose the one that isn’t so secret?
